Urswick is a URC Church situated beside the tarn in Great Urswick which is east of Dalton-in -Furness and north-east of Barrow-in-Furness Please click here for a link to streetmap.co.uk

Services

Urswick United Reform Church has a service on the 2nd and 4th Sunday mornings, starting at 10:45. This includes the Sacrement of Holy Communion. On the 1st Sunday in each month the congregation unite in the Parish Church at 9:15 am. On the 3rd Sunday in each month there is a joint service in the Parish Church at 11:00 am.

Coffee Mornings to support Network have been organised so far for the following dates:
Thursday 31st July - Beacon Hill Saturday 9th August - at Dalton URC, hosted by E Pears & M Dawson.
District Summer Event - 16th July, 2pm at Grange-over-Sands Methodist Church, theme - Journeying with God.
Local Preachers’ Refresher Sessions All meetings start at 7:30 p.m. and aim to finish at or before 9:00 p.m. This year, we are looking at the Minor Prophets. The two remaining sessions are: 22/7/2008: led by John Sheldon at 19 Carlton Avenue on Micah 16/9/2008: led by Bob Mantle at Dalton on Amos (please note change of date).
