News

We at Askam are still busy with the revamp of the church. We are expecting a second group of students on the Princes Trust challenge to start painting the church in June, so if you are attending one of our services from the 13th June onwards please be prepared to worship in the Lounge, for a few Sundays. This helps the decorators as they do not need to dismantle the scaffolding each Friday. We were delighted with the work the first group of students did painting the Lounge, and hope the freshly painted Church will look as clean and inviting.
We are to hold our Annual Garden Party on Saturday, 5th July, from 2.00 p.m. - 4.00 p.m. in the Church garden. Tickets are £1.00 which includes afternoon tea. Please look out on your notice boards for further details, and we hope as many as possible will be able to join us on that day.
On Wednesday, 10th September, we are to have a visit from the Youth Fellowship Puppets when they will be performing for us - at 6.00 p.m. in Duddon Road Church. If you haven’t as yet seen the show, you have missed a treat, so please join us on that night for lots of fun and laughter - but with a big message. For those of you who have seen the Puppets performing you will most certainly be welcome to enjoy them again.

You are invited to other events around the Circuit
